Top 5 Angry Canadian Female Artists
Although Canadian women are not typically know for bouts of rage, there have been enough Canadian female musicians who have demonstrated considerable amounts of public displays of aggression to justify this countdown. Below is a list of the Top 5 angry Canadian female musician

kd Lang: Perhaps the most undeserving member of this list, kd lang is a very accomplished musician. So why did she make our list? We at the Annex almost always pick on icons and individuals with causes. k.d. lang inspires lesbians worldwide. With songs like "Johnny Get Angry," we thought it would be fitting to make her into an aggressor.
Joni Mitchell: Now it gets a little easier. With lyrics like "an angry man is just an angry man / but an angry woman… bitch! (Lead Balloon)" Joni needs some anger management lessons. In the same song, she hails " "Kiss my ass!" I said and I threw my drink / It came a-trickling down his business suit / Must be the Irish blood." Joni, seriously calm down.
Diana Krall: Yep, we notice that look on your faces. Diana Krall? She definitely is an angry Canadian woman. The problem with Diana Krall is that she refuses to smile. No, we do not have an affinity for dentition at the Annex, but we recommend that pretty women do smile. And even when she does, there is this sinister glow in her face.
Avril Lavigne: Sadly, MTV, MTV2, Muchmusic and other music stations are slowly breeding teens into naked aggressors. Take this teenaged girl from Napanee, Ontario as an example. In her bio on her official website, she describes herself as "a skater-punk, a dynamic spirit, a true wild child." What the @#% is that? Avril, chill out, whatcha yelling for?
Alanis Morrisette: Shouldda seen this coming.... Alanis takes the cake for the angriest Canadian woman in music. Perhaps the only thing we have on Alanis is "You Outta Know," but that is flipping more than enough. If you haven't seen the video, think: Alanis, desert, guitar, and a bucket full of bitter rage.
